Civic Education Club, University of Education Chapter held successful handing-over ceremony

The Civic Education Club, University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Chapter has held its annual handing-over ceremony, marking the transition of power to new executives. The event occurred at the North Campus, SIMPA JRC.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the immediate past President, the Effutu Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), who served as the Chairman.

In his keynote address, the Effutu Municipal Director of the NCCE emphasised the importance of responsibility and hard work among club executives. He urged the new leadership to prioritise accountability, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

The outgoing Vice President, Luis Agbeli presented a comprehensive report on the club’s state and achievements, highlighting successes and challenges faced during his tenure. Agbovi Christian Tsoewekwo, the newly elected President, pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessors. He vowed to lead with integrity, transparency, and vision, aiming to leave a lasting legacy.

The event also featured remarks from the club’s patron and other stakeholders who expressed confidence in the new executives and the President’s ability to drive the club forward.

The handing-over ceremony demonstrated the Club’s commitment to continuity, growth, and service to the University community.
