The Osino District office of the NCCE launched its maiden Citizenship Week Celebration with students of Osino Presby JHS under the theme “Ghana’s Future: The Role of the Ghanaian Child”. The initiative aimed to instil responsible citizenship and civic values in young learners. Mr. Sampson Kassim, Assistant Director at the Fanteakwa District Assembly, served as the resource person, encouraging students to focus on their education and avoid illegal mining.
The District Director of the NCCE, Mr. Kwadwo Adu-Asare, also advised the students to stay committed to their studies and avoid distractions, urging them to develop the passion for reading and lifelong learning. The celebration reinforced the importance of civic education among the youth and highlighted the crucial role they play as young citizens in Ghana’s democratic future.
