Sekyere Central NCCE Launches 2024 Inter-Party Dialogue Committee Ahead of December Polls

Sekyere Central NCCE launched its 2024 Inter-Party Dialogue Committee on August 30, 2024.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by well-known personalities from various walks of life, including the clergy, political parties, the traditional council, security services, youth and women’s groups, the Electoral Commission, CSOs, and other marginalized groups.

Peace messages were delivered by these prominent citizens of the district in anticipation of the upcoming general elections.

The chairman of the occasion, Nana Baah Boadi Amponim of the Nsuta Traditional Council, advised political parties to be polite in their utterances.

The District Electoral Officer, Mr. Akwasi Abrokwaa, also took the participants through the DOs and DON’Ts of the electoral process.

Chief Inspector Favour Adukpo, representing the Police Commander, addressed security issues related to the 2024 general elections.

The NCCE Director, Mr. Gordon Opoku Yeboah, spoke on peaceful coexistence and political tolerance.

In conclusion, participants pledged to carry the message of peace to the larger community.
