NCCE Engages Abompe Church on Patriotism and Civic Responsibility

As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebrations, the Kwaebibirem Municipal office of the NCCE has engaged members of the Church of Pentecost in Abompe. Speaking to the congregation, Ms. Hillary Ohene, Assistant Civic Education Officer (ACEO), underscored the importance of Ghana’s Constitution as the bedrock of the peace and stability the country enjoys. She delivered her message under the theme: “Ghana’s Future, Our Collective Responsibility,” encouraging citizens to embrace patriotism, discipline, hard work, and integrity as key values for national development.

Ms. Ohene further urged the congregants to live in harmony and actively contribute to safeguarding the nation’s democratic gains. During the interactive session, a proud member of the church shared how the community had collectively fought against illegal mining (galamsey), resulting in the eradication of the menace from Abompe. The testimony reflected the commitment of community members in upholding the law and protecting their environment, aligning with the civic values promoted during Annual Constitution Week.
