EU/GIZ Anti-Corruption Project: Visibility, Accountability, and Professionalism Key – NCCE Staff advised

The Commission Secretary and Right to Information Officer at the NCCE, Mrs. Lucille Hewlett Annan Esq., has underscored the critical role of visibility and effective resource management in the successful implementation of the two-year EU/GIZ Action on the theme “Civic Engagements on the Rule of Law and the Fight Against Corruption.” She made this call at a recent staff capacity-building workshop held in Fumesua in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Addressing the sixty (60) District Directors in attendance, Mrs. Annan encouraged participants to consistently wear branded T-shirts and utilise prescribed visibility materials (backdrops /pull-banners) during all official events. This, she noted, not only promotes the visibility of the Commission but also highlights the support of the development partners.

She further urged staff to manage resources and logistics prudently, emphasising that responsible stewardship is essential for ensuring project sustainability throughout its stipulated duration.

In her concluding remarks, Mrs. Annan reminded staff of their duty to uphold and protect the image of the NCCE at all times. She emphasised strict adherence to donor guidelines to avoid any lapses and ensure all reporting requirements are fully met.

This initiative is funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
