The Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Ada East District has intensified its public education drive among residents in the enclave to mark this year’s Constitution Week Celebration.
In an engagement with the Women Fellowship members of The Living Church of Christ at Kasseh-Zongo, NCCE officials focused on the importance of upholding the values and principles enshrined in the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
Addressing the gathering, they underscored the need for citizens to respect, protect, defend, and adhere to the 1992 Constitution as a foundation for national cohesion and sustainable development.
The event, held in the church auditorium, drew strong endorsement from the audience as leadership of the Fellowship expressed deep appreciation to the NCCE for its continuous efforts in promoting civic awareness and strengthening democratic values across the country.
Participants were urged to extend the knowledge gained by sharing it with their families, friends, and wider community networks.
This initiative forms part of the Commission’s nationwide activities aimed at fostering responsible citizenship and reinforcing the collective responsibility of Ghanaians to safeguard the nation’s democratic gains.
