The Ashanti Regional Office of the National Commission for Civic Education has embarked on a clean-up exercise in Kumasi as part of the Commission’s maiden civic responsibility exercise dubbed, 'NCCE Clean-up Day'.

Civic Education Officers who are often seen speaking to citizens on Good Citizenship, Civic Values and Good Sanitation Practices were seen desilting gutters, weeding, and sweeping parts of the Asafo Market.

As expected, the officers used the platform to educate traders and commuters on their civic rights and obligations.
