The Northern Regional Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has organized a symposium at the Tamale University College of education. This forms part of the Anti-corruption, Rule of law and Accountability Program aimed at encouraging tertiary students to join the campaign in the fight against corruption.
Northern Regional Director of Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Lawyer Stephen Azantilo advised students to eschew corrupt practices and be agents of change. He urged the students not to be apathetic towards this discourse because the youth are future leaders on whose shoulders the mantle of governance rests.
Mr. John Doe, a Principal Civic education officer at NCCE Head Office indicated that corruption has eaten deep into our moral fiber, and as students and young citizens, they have an obligation to act with integrity and expose corrupt practices.
