NCCE SEKYERE CENTRAL DIRECTORATE EDUCATES STUDENTS ON CYBERSECURITY RELATED ISSUES

NCCE, Sekyere Central Directorate, engaged the students of St. PETER'S JHS in Nsuta on cybersecurity-related issues. The students were advised to be very careful about the way and manner in which they handled social media platforms.

They were also cautioned to be very careful with insults they posted on the internet since it could come back to bite them. They were made to understand that everything you put on the Internet takes a century to be wiped out completely. Thus, it takes one hundred years (100) for it to be wiped out. They were equally educated and sensitized on the issues of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR) towards their adolescent development.

Thus: a statistics from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) gives us a record of girls aged ten to fourteen years (10-14yrs) who were impregnated from January to July , the figures were fifty-three thousand plus (53,000+). The students were further encouraged to respect school authority, rules and regulations, and to foster their educational development.
