NCCE Launches Civic Education Club at Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute

The NCCE has launched a Civic Education Club (CEC) at the Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute to promote civic responsibility and active citizenship among students.

As part of the launch, the Deputy Greater Accra Regional Director of the NCCE, Ms. Gloria Doku, engaged students on information disorder. She highlighted the dangers of misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, and hate speech. She also stressed on the importance of verifying sources of information, critically assessing its content before sharing it with other publics to foster responsible digital behaviour.

The initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to combat misinformation while encouraging them to be active participants in nation-building.
