As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebration, the NCCE Upper East Regional office engaged twenty-five (25) officers from the Upper East Regional Immigration Service in Bolgatanga. The Deputy Regional Director of the NCCE, Mr. Augustine Akugri, introduced the flagship programme and highlighted this year’s theme, "Ghana's future: Our Collective Responsibility," emphasising that national development requires the involvement of everyone.
DSI Clement Awaitey, the resource person, discussed the important role the Immigration Service plays in economic development, migration management, and national security. He stressed the need to uphold core values such as patriotism, integrity, unity, and accountability. Upper East Regional Commander, DCOI Theophilus Tetteh Laryea, urged officers to dedicate themselves to national progress and the nurturing of future leaders. The event concluded with a lively quiz competition led by Mr. Akugri, with officers requesting more of such engagements in the future.
