NCCE Engages Kente Weavers in Dangbe on Constitutional Values

As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebration, Mr. Enoch Njirib, Assistant Civic Education Officer (ACEO) of the NCCE, engaged Kente weavers in the Dangbe community of the Nanumba North Municipality. Speaking on the theme “Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility,” Mr. Njirib highlighted Ghana’s journey to constitutional democracy and discussed the values and virtues necessary for nation-building, such as the rule of law, civic responsibility, and peaceful coexistence.

He emphasised the sacrifices made by individuals who fought for democratic freedom and urged the weavers to play their part in preserving these gains. Mr. Njirib also educated the group on lawful ways to engage stakeholders and express their concerns in accordance with the 1992 Constitution, stressing that avoiding violence and choosing dialogue is crucial to maintaining peace and stability.
