As we continue to deal with COVID-19 and its related issues, the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS) have engaged groups, organizations and the general public on COVID-19 to intensify public sensitization efforts. Members of the Coalition of Concerned Teachers, Ghana (CCT) had their share of the engagement. Mr. Kisses Johnson, Mr. Seth Adjei and Dr. Nasiru Tanko Mohammed engaged participants on the “Overview of COVID-19, Deployment Strategies, Compliance and Safety Protocols” “Communicating with COVID-19 Key Messages” and “Global and Context-Based FAQs of COVID-19”
Mr. Rockson Gbande, a former Acting Director of Programs urged the participants to use their influence as teachers to pass on the education they have received and encourage others to participate in the vaccination process.
The General Secretary of CCT, Mr. Ako Forson, expressed gratitude to NCCE and GHS for the education and called for regular engagements with the Coalition.
