NCCE Engagement with the public of Atadeka

The NCCE Zenu Zonal Council office, in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO)and the Department of Community Development & Social Welfare, engaged commuters and members of the public at Atadeka, Madina Trotro Station, and Aunty Araba Lorry Station. The outreach aimed to educate the public on critical issues pertaining to Sexual and Reproductive Health, Fire Safety, Disaster Preparedness, and basic sanitation practices. Officers used the opportunity to intensively sensitise and answer questions from traders, drivers, and passengers. Participants were urged to adopt healthy lifestyles, ensure proper waste disposal, and take proactive steps to prevent fire outbreaks and disasters in their homes and workplaces.
