The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has emerged the 1st runner-up of the European Union (EU) video competition among different institutions implementing projects and programmes fully or partially funded by the EU to mark 2018 EU Week.
Under the theme “Changing Lives”, the competition sought to present the success story of the EU cooperation in Ghana. The theme focused on the actual result of projects with particular emphasis on the changes and impacts the project brought to Ghanaians. Videos from various institutions were premiered at the Silver Bird Cinema in Accra.
Voting was done by Ghanaians through social media platforms and viewers at the Silver Bird Cinema.
Participating institutions were awarded at a ceremony to mark the EU Day in Accra attended by European Union Member States in Ghana, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Ministers of State, EU projects implementing institutions in Ghana, Civil Society Organisations, various stakeholders and the media.
