Members of the Child Development Center (CDC) Swedru Cluster have benefitted from a civic education session organised by NCCE's Agona West Municipal office. The engagement focused on enlightening participants about the functions of the Commission, the harmful effects of drug abuse, and the importance of active citizen participation in national development.
Present at the session were Mr. Ebenezer Quansah, leader of the CDC group, Ms. Judith Adomako-Ofosua, the NCCE Municipal Director and staff of the Commission as well as some members of CDC. The initiative formed part of the Commission’s broader mandate to empower citizens, especially the youth, with knowledge that enables them to become responsible and law-abiding citizens.
