As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebration, the Civic Education Club of Takoradi Technical University (TTU), in collaboration with NCCE's Western Regional office, organised a special radio talk show on Premier FM, a station owned by TTU. The programme featured NCCE's Western Regional Director, Mr. Justice Yaw Ennin, and the Acting Municipal Director for Effia Kwesimintsim Municipality, Mr. Yusif Osman, as resource persons. The discussion centred on the Commission’s 2025 theme: “Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility.”
Mr. Ennin outlined the vital role NCCE plays in Ghana’s democratic journey. He explained that the Commission’s mandate includes educating the public on their civic rights, duties, and responsibilities as citizens. He further stressed that peace, harmony, and lawfulness are critical to national development, urging listeners to report unlawful behaviour to the appropriate security agencies and to contribute actively to national development.
Mr. Ennin emphasised that the future of Ghana lies in the hands of its citizens and called on all to contribute meaningfully to the country's development. The talk show served as an informative platform to remind citizens of their civic obligations and to encourage patriotic action in support of Ghana’s democratic process.
