The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Weija-Gbawe Municipal Office, in collaboration with staff and departmental heads of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, has undertaken a monitoring visit to ongoing development projects within the municipality.
The visit aimed to assess the progress of work on selected projects and promote accountability in the implementation of government-funded initiatives.
Among the projects inspected were a borehole water project at Gonse, a six-unit classroom block at the Mallam Cluster of Schools, a gender-focused 24-Hour Economy project at Gbawe, and a four-unit classroom block at Tetegu.
The exercise forms part of efforts to promote civic responsibility, transparency, and public awareness of development projects within the municipality.
