As part of the Annual Citizenship Week Celebration, the Adentan Municipal office of the NCCE visited Upright International School in Ashiyie to engage the pupils on the theme, “Ghana's Future: The Role of the Ghanaian Child.” The session, held on the school premises, aimed to inspire the young learners to recognise their role in shaping the nation's future and contributing meaningfully to its development.
Resource persons Mr. Alexander O. Siaw and Ms. Sandra D. A. Quarshie led the discussion, emphasising the importance of upholding core national values. Pupils were encouraged to embody principles such as patriotism, tolerance, unity, environmental responsibility, academic honesty, discipline, and respect. The engagement fostered a sense of civic responsibility among the students and served as a call to action for them to play active roles in building a better Ghana.
