NATIONAL FORUM ON MEDIA AND PEACEFUL ELECTIONS

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), in partnership with the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), is organising a National Forum on Media and Peaceful Elections in Ghana on Thursday, 22nd October 2020 at 9:30 am at Alisa Hotel, Ridge-Accra.
The NCCE/MFWA forum is intended to bring together news editors, media managers from of the media sector, representatives of National Media Commission, Ghana Journalists Association, the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association, Ghana Community Radio Network, Private Newspaper Paper Publishers Association, Editors Forum-Ghana to interact with other key stakeholders such as the Electoral Commission, Security Agencies, Peace Council and other Civil Society Organisation.
The forum will also provide the opportunity for representatives of the media to share their perspectives on issues and ways that will enhance election reportage.
The forum is being held with funding support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana and the Open Society Initiate for West Africa (OSIWA).
