The Pensioners Association in the Lower Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region has benefitted from NCCE’s public education programme on COVID-19. The NCCE has been engaging the public on COVID-19 appealing to citizens to observe the safety protocols and participating in the national COVID-19 vaccination exercise. A Principal Civic Education Officer, Ms. Elizabeth Tetteh with the Manya Krobo Office of the NCCE engaged the Pensioners Association and entreated them to accept the COVD-19 vaccine and get vaccinated. She urged the Pensioners to continue observing all the safety protocols even after taking the vaccine adding that all myths surrounding the vaccine should be ignored.
