The Akuapem North Municipal Office of the Commission engaged pupils of M/A JHS, Akropong in the Eastern Region on Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence and Good Environmental Governance as inscribed in Articles 41 c, d and k of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
The resource person, Mr. Eric K Ocloo (Civic Field Officer) briefed pupils present on what Articles 41 c, d, and k seek to achieve and the role they ought to play as good citizens of Ghana to ensure its realization.
The pupils were further encouraged to accept and understand their individual differences to enable them to live in harmony with each other regardless of their gender, ethnic group, religious, and political inclination to foster national unity and stability.
Furthermore, they were urged to help safeguard against hazards such as deforestation, and air, water, and soil pollution to aid in the fight against climate change and global warming.
Present were the Principal Field Officer (PFO), Ms. Portia Hlovor, and the Municipal Director, Ms. Benedicta Duvor.
