The Oyibi Zonal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Kpone Katamanso organised a Constitution Quiz Competition at Accra Grammar School to promote civic awareness, constitutional literacy, and academic excellence among Junior High School learners.
The competition aimed to strengthen knowledge of the 1992 Constitution, foster discipline and responsibility, and inspire active citizenship among the younger generation. Participating schools included Bawaleshie KKMA JHS, Saasabi KKMA JHS, Accra Grammar School, and M’Salem School Complex.
After a spirited contest, Bawaleshie KKMA JHS emerged as winners with 63 points, followed by Saasabi KKMA JHS with 52 points, Accra Grammar School with 49 points, and M’Salem School Complex with 43 points.
Prizes and certificates were awarded to all participants in recognition of their commendable performance. The event was graced by dignitaries from the NCCE, local authorities, and school leadership, who commended the initiative, alluding to its effectiveness in advancing civic education and nurturing responsible future leaders.
