Keta NCCE Joins Faith Groups in Observing National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving

The Keta Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the NCCE, marked the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving with a unifying event held at the forecourt of the Assembly. The celebration brought together leaders and members of the Islamic, Christian, and Traditional religious communities to offer collective prayers for national peace, unity, and progress. Lina Elinam Bensah, Director of NCCE in Keta, delivered the civic message, emphasizing the importance of faith-based reflections on governance, social cohesion, and civic responsibility.

Prayers were offered for Ghana’s leadership, successful democratic transitions, economic stability, and the implementation of national policies. Participants also interceded for wisdom and peace in both national and international affairs. The event, which drew significant attendance from community members and stakeholders, ended on a hopeful note, with the shared belief that the united prayers of Ghanaians will yield positive outcomes for the nation’s future.
