Asunafo North Observes National Day of Prayer with Unified Interfaith Services

The NCCE, in collaboration with the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly, commemorated the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving with interfaith services that emphasized national reflection and unity. The day began with a solemn Muslim prayer session at the Central Mosque in Goaso, led by Chief Imam Alhaji Ammed Inusa, who offered prayers for peace, unity, and sustainable development. The event was graced by the Ahafo Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive, and other dignitaries who joined the congregation in reflection, emphasizing the value of national discipline and moral responsibility.

A Christian thanksgiving service followed at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, bringing together worshippers from various denominations in fervent prayer, worship, and calls for national renewal. The Ahafo Regional Minister, addressing both gatherings, underscored the importance of collective responsibility and interfaith cooperation in shaping Ghana’s future. The dual services served as a symbol of peaceful religious coexistence in the municipality and a reminder for all citizens to reflect on the nation’s progress, reset attitudes, and renew their commitment to national development and unity.
