The Okada Drivers Association and some Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) in the West Akyem District of the Eastern Region have been engaged on COVID-19 related issues and the need for peace after the 2020 General Election. During a joint public education exercise by the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Information Services Department (ISD), the Ammaako Okada Drivers Association, Ammaako Church of Pentecost, African Faith Church, Pabi and the Victory Presbyterian Church in the Oworam community were educated on the need to get vaccinated and also to continue observing the COVID-19 protocols.
