Tema West Youth Lead Powerful Showcase Against Drug Abuse at NCCE Project Citizen Event

Under the theme “Ghana’s Future, Our Collective Responsibility,” the Tema West NCCE brought together students, stakeholders, and dignitaries for a powerful youth-led Project Citizen Showcase against drug abuse.

Mr. Mawuli Agbenu, Greater Accra Regional Director of NCCE, praised the youth’s active participation, urging them to give their best, win or lose.

Hon. James Enu (ESQ), MP for Tema West, pledged ongoing support for youth development and NCCE initiatives.

Ms. Rebecca Colecraft, NCCE Assistant Director, cautioned against drug abuse and called on students to become ambassadors for a drug-free lifestyle.

And Fidel Nii-Akuffo Bortey, Municipal Director and MC, kept the event vibrant and engaging, guiding the audience through a day of education and empowerment.

Key dignitaries present included officers from the Divisional Police Command—Superintendent Nyuar and ASP Yeboah—as well as officials from the Ghana Health Service and Madam Yakoba Otoo of the Ghana Education Service.

A huge shoutout to Lashibi Community SHS for emerging as winners and to all students for using drama to speak out boldly against drug misuse!
