The Tano North office of the NCCE, organised a constitution quiz competition for selected basic schools in Duayaw Nkwanta as part of activities to celebrate the 68th Independence Day Anniversary. The competition, held at the Church of Pentecost, engaged six (6) public and private schools who were quizzed on their knowledge of the 1992 Constitution and pre-independence history of Ghana.
Mr. Joseph Oduro-Buabeng, NCCE’s Municipal Director, emphasised that the quiz aimed to test students’ understanding of the 1992 Constitution under the Commission’s 2025 operational theme: Ghana’s Future; Our Collective Responsibility. After the competition, SESBEC Montessori School emerged winners with 101 points, followed closely by Clyde Academy with 98 points, and R/JHS placing third with 86 points.
Teachers and contestants commended the quiz master, Mr. Richmond Aidoo of Boakye Tromo SHS, for his exceptional moderation. They urged the NCCE to make the competition a regular event to enhance students’ knowledge of the Constitution and foster civic responsibility.
