NCCE West Akim Municipal Inter-Party Dialogue Committee Convenes to Promote Peace Ahead of 2024 Elections

The Inter-Party Dialogue Committee Executives, West Akim Municipal - Asamankese, met ahead of its general meeting of all stakeholders slated for 6th September 2024.

The meeting was convened to deliberate on pertinent issues, including public sensitisation activities to be taken on peace towards the general election after the official reactivation of the Committee in its upcoming general meeting. The event was held at the hall of the West Akim Municipal Assembly.

In attendance were the Chairman of the Committee, Rev. Adof Saa; the Municipal Police Commander, Mr. Anim Ofori; the Coordinating Director of the West Akim Municipal Assembly, Mr. Moses Kobla Joshua and the Local Council of Churches president, who doubles as the Presiding Minister for the Methodist Church, Asamankese, Rev. Francis Acquah. Others include “Let’s Go There” (Asamankese Market Women/Men Association) President, Madam Vida Abena Baah, and the NCCE Municipal Director, Mr. Daniel Chartey.
