Nabdam NCCE Office Educates the Public on Patriotism

The Nabdam District office of the NCCE has marked the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebration with expanded outreach efforts across the district under the theme “Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility.” The Annual Constitution Week is a flagship programme established by the Commission to commemorate Ghana’s return to constitutional rule under the Fourth Republican Constitution. The district office engaged a wide range of identifiable groups including traders, youth, animal sellers, and women’s groups. In collaboration with the District Health Directorate, a video screening was held in the Zua Electoral Area to educate community members on tolerance, good parenting, patriotism, and substance abuse.

The enthusiasm and commitment from the groups engaged were commendable, with many pledging to uphold the 1992 Constitution as well as promote peace, unity, and environmental cleanliness. At a women’s programme in Nangodi organised by WILDAF-GH, participants committed to upholding Ghanaian values and fostering social cohesion. The district office expressed satisfaction with the strong response from participants and their promise to practise good citizenship and safeguard Ghana’s democratic gains.
