Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, NCCE's Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations has joined the Commission’s staff in the Central Region to interact with them and encourage them to intensify civic education in the region.

In separate sessions in Effutu Municipality and Gomoa West District, Mr. Akuamoah motivated staff to work hard and actively engage citizens on good citizenship. He discussed with staff among others operational issues, the need for innovative strategies to keep communities engaged in what he says are difficult times with scarce resources.

On security and the need for vigilance for any potential threats to national security, Mr. Akuamoah directed that public education be intensified in these areas to encourage citizens to report suspicious characters to the appropriate bodies for rapid response.
