The Ashiedu Keteke Sub-Metro of NCCE Office has targeted their COVID-19 education programme at some market centres including the Accra CMB market, where women, traders, drivers and passengers were engaged on the safety protocols.
The NCCE Officers on the ground, including Mr. Rexford Mensah Bonsu and Percy De-Graft Turkson sensitised the public on the proper wearing of face masks in public spaces and the use of hand sanitizers.
They also stressed on the regular washing of hands with soap under running water, as well as the steps to follow when they experience symptoms of COVID-19.
The team also encouraged the market folks not to shun or discriminate and stigmatised against those who have recovered from the disease.
