Gomoa Central NCCE holds IPDC to foster peaceful coexistence

Gomoa Central Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has organized its first Inter-Party Dialogue Committee meeting for the year 2025. This aligns with the Commission’s deliberate stakeholder engagement efforts.

The purpose of the meeting was to take stock of fallouts of the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections by examining civic education tactics that contributed to the peace realized before, during, and after the elections; while taking a look at areas that needs improvement.

The meeting, which was held at the Afransi Old District Assembly Hall, also discussed measures that can be adopted to foster peaceful coexistence among the youth, especially along the lines of political divisions, going forward.

The Office of the Commission in the District additionally leveraged the opportunity to extend management’s regards and appreciation to members of the committee for their immense contribution in various ways towards the course of NCCE in the previous year, as far as Gomoa Central District is concerned.

Meanwhile, subsequent discussions were had on sustaining the peace that currently prevails in the district.
