Fulfilling Your Civic Duties Contributes to National Development - Jaman South NCCE

As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week Celebration, the Jaman South Municipal Directorate of the NCCE held media engagements to sensitise the public on the theme “Ghana’s Future, Our Collective Responsibility.” The Municipal Director, Mr. Emmanuel Oduro, speaking on Anidaso 101.5 FM and Kiss 97.5 FM, stressed the need for citizens to actively participate in national development by fulfilling their civic duties as outlined in Article 41 of the 1992 Constitution.

Mr. Oduro announced that the NCCE would be visiting faith-based organisations, educational institutions, identifiable groups, and security services for direct face-to-face engagements. Mr. Matthew Kofi Dzoboku, Programmes Officer at the NCCE, encouraged individuals and institutions to collaborate with the Commission in promoting civic responsibility, accountability, and a united front for national progress. He emphasised that such partnerships are essential for preserving democracy and ensuring a brighter future for the country.
