CITIZENSHIP WEEK CELEBRATION IN KASSENA NANKANA WEST - PAGA

As part of activities marking this year's Citizenship Week Celebration of the Commission, pupils from Paga JHS and St. Theresa's JHS were sent to the Nabina FM studio to sensitise their peers on Responsible Digital Behaviour.

The sensitisation was under the sub-theme:

" Growing Up Digital ": The Ghanaian Child Upholding the Constitution Online

The pupils emphasised the need for Ghanaians to uphold the supremacy of the Constitution online to promote fundamental human rights and ensure a responsible and safe environment online.

They advised their peers to avoid posting harmful materials online and to also avoid harmful sites that could ruin their lives.

The pupils asserted the fact that it's detrimental to post their nude pictures online since this could be exploited by miscreants for sextortion

They further said this act could jeopardize one's future and profession.

The host of the programme was Alfred Kutajira.

The pupils were led by Mr. Bright Amlalo and their respective patrons.
