The Centre for Democratic Development, CDD Ghana has led members of the Shaping Futures Academy 2024 Cohorts to pay a courtesy call on the National Commission for Civic Education, NCCE.
The group made up of members from three (3) European Countries and thirteen (13) African countries were at NCCE to understand the work of the Commission, its Civic Education modules, strategies and operations.
The members asked questions on NCCE’s civic engagements, citizens' participation in Ghana’s democratic and youth-centred programmes.
CDD Ghana is partnering German Institute of Development and Sustainability-IDOS
to host the Citizenship and Democracy Academic Module in Ghana.
NCCE led by its Chairperson, Ms. Kathleen Addy hosted the about 30 members of the Shaping the Futures 2024 Cohorts at the Head Office in Accra. Ms. Addy and her team had a fruitful and engaging discussions with the group.
Present at the meeting were Deputy Chairmen of NCCE, Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah (Operations), Victor Brobbey, Esq.( General Services) and top management officials of the Commission.
