Beposo Presbyterian JHS Emerges Victors in a District Debate

The Beposo Presbyterian JHS have been crowned champions of a debate organised by the Sekyere Central Office of the National Commission for Civic Education. This academic event is hinged on whipping up the interest of students within the district in issues they would ordinarily not pay particular attention to.

Best described as a thrilling display of intellect, resilience, and eloquence, contestants from the Beposo Presbyterian JHS commanded the day with a decisive victory over their counterparts from Jansa R/C JHS.

Participants were expected to build sound arguments, either for or against the motion, "Allowing the use of mobile phones in Junior High Schools". By putting together a compelling ad and a well-structured case, Beposo JHS garnered a total of 53 points, with a 24-point difference against Jansa R/C JHS.

Parents and other residents who witnessed the show of cognitive mettle appreciated the Commission for implementing what they describe as a brilliant initiative to enhance knowledge levels among the young ones in the area. They request a frequent roll-out of such initiatives for the future benefit of the district.
