Bawku West NCCE Educates Communities on Constitutional Awareness

To commemorate the 2025 Annual Constitution Week, the Bawku West District office of the NCCE embarked on a public sensitisation drive under the theme “Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility.” The engagements focused on educating citizens on the importance of understanding and protecting the 1992 Constitution as a foundation for democratic governance.

The civic education team engaged various community and interest groups, including women’s associations, weavers, shop owners, religious groups, and the general public. Outreach sessions were held in Teogo, Natinga, Bazunde, Kubougo, Widnaba, Ayaaka, Agatuse, and other communities, with stops at churches, mosques, and local businesses. The initiative sought to strengthen civic consciousness and promote active citizenship across the district.
