The Ashaiman Municipal office of the NCCE, in collaboration with Opportunity International Savings and Loans, held a mentorship programme for students of the Ashaiman Technical Vocational Institute. The initiative aimed to bridge classroom learning with real-world experiences in entrepreneurship. The Municipal Director, Ms. Salvata Mawulom Koku explained that the programme was designed to inspire students to take their academic work seriously and to learn directly from business professionals.
Other speakers at the engagement were Dr. Imurana Mohammed, NCCE Programmes Director, and Mrs. Diana Zachary Karikari of Opportunity International. They also emphasised the importance of values like integrity, hard work, and financial discipline. A young entrepreneur, Ms. Jaliilatu Alhassan also encouraged students to stay focused and build their entrepreneurial paths gradually, reminding them that their future depends on the decisions they make today.
