Adentan NCCE Urges Pupils to Be Agents of Positive Change

As part of the Annual Citizenship Week Celebration, the Adentan Municipal Office of the NCCE engaged students of the Wesley Methodist School in Amrahia on the theme, “Ghana’s Future: The Role of the Ghanaian Child.” The programme saw NCCE’s resource persons Mr. Mark Baah Kumi and Mrs. Vida Obeng Addo lead an interactive session aimed at instilling civic values and national pride among the young learners.

Mr. Baah Kumi introduced the pupils to the mandate of the NCCE and the significance of Citizenship Week, urging them to understand the power of their everyday actions in shaping the future of the nation. He highlighted core national values such as patriotism, discipline, unity, tolerance, and respect, stressing that these values should guide their conduct both in and out of school. The students were also encouraged to ask questions, helping to deepen their understanding and reaffirm their role as responsible future leaders of Ghana.
