As part of the 2025 Annual Constitution Week celebration, the Adentan Municipal office of the NCCE has engaged members of the Ghana Cooperative Fashion Designers Association (GCFDA), Ashiyie Branch, at the Christian Life Church Auditorium. The event, under the theme “Ghana's Future: Our Collective Responsibility,” aimed to sensitise artisans on constitutional values and their roles in promoting national development.
Mrs. Vida Obeng Addo, one of the resource persons, explained the relevance of the 1992 Constitution and emphasised that nation-building requires the active participation of all citizens—artisans, students, teachers, civil servants, and business owners. She highlighted Article 41 of the 1992 Constitution, which outlines the responsibilities of citizens, including paying of taxes, safeguarding the environment, protecting public property, and living peacefully with others.
She also underscored key national values such as patriotism, discipline, integrity, civic responsibility, and environmental consciousness. Mrs. Obeng Addo concluded by stressing that Ghana’s future depends on a united effort by its citizens. “Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a part in building a peaceful, hopeful, and prosperous nation,” she said.
