A team from the North-East Regional Office of the NCCE led by the Regional Director, Wilberforce Zangina has engaged officers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) at Nalerigu as part of the 2023 Annual Constitution Week Celebration

A team from the North-East Regional Office of the NCCE led by the Regional Director, Wilberforce Zangina has engaged officers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) at Nalerigu as part of the 2023 Annual Constitution Week Celebration.

The theme for the 2023 celebration is "Thirty Years of Consolidating Constitutional Democracy: Building National Cohesion through Civic Education and Participation in Local Governance”.

Mr. Zangina charged the GNFS to protect and defend the Constitution at all times against any form of abuse. He admonished the officers to be vigilant and help to protect the nation from the threats of violent extremism and terrorism, especially with the recent activities of violent extremists within the Sahel region. He also urged citizens to participate in upcoming district-level elections to strengthen Ghana’s democracy.
