Presbyterian Boys Civic Education Club (CEC) visits parliament

“The Civic Education Club helped to prepare me; there was a certain desire for knowledge and to hone our skills”. This is the response from the Honourable Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, who doubles as the Foreign Affairs Minister of the current government. His statement was on the back of a question from a member of the Presbyterian Boys Civic Education Club, who sought to find out how the club had contributed to his current personality and acumen.

The Honourable Minister, who, in his high school days, was once president of the PRESEC CEC, while interacting with the students, admonished them to cherish strategic friendships and networking even at that stage. According to him, such deliberate actions have a positive impact and are beneficial in the future, citing some benefits he has enjoyed from such intentionally nurtured relationships.
